About Bhutan
The Land of Peaceful Dragon

Bhutan is a tiny Himalayan Kingdom nestled between China with province of Tibet in the north and Indian state of Assam, west Bengal & Sikkim in East, South & West respectively. In recent years, the world has been gently introduced to one of the last hidden domains of man in all its ancient mysticism “The Land of Thunder Dragon, the last Shangrila”. The Bhutanese society is closely knit and draws with its pace and values from Buddhist teachings of love and compassion. It is for this reason that Bhutan was able to enjoy its serenity over the years. The Bhutanese are unique race of people, their identity enhanced by the years of self-imposed isolation. As the kingdom    remained closed to the outside world for centuries, the people developed their own traditions of industries, festivals, language and literatures, architecture and their own form of religious practice. The kingdom of Bhutan is an exotic land of high mountains and lush valleys, snow-clad peaks and running springs, a pristine ecology and incredible wealth of flora & fauna. Making a trip to Bhutan with humble respect is an opportunity to experience a Himalayan Buddhist culture
