It is protected by the copyright laws of the Royal Government of Bhutan and other applicable international copyright laws, and may not be copied, duplicated or reproduced in any form without prior permission of Lhuethag Adventure.

Safety

The crime rate in Bhutan is extremely low as the country lives up to its epithet of the Land of Peaceful Dragon and the street are safe to walk around but visitors may find no reason to wander out at night since the towns close early and packs of stray dogs tend to take over the streets. Also, do not walk alone when trekking. You may get lost or encounter wild animals like the Himalayan bear in certain seasons. People with high blood pressure should remember to bring their medicines and trekkers who suffer from acute altitude sickness should walk down to lower altitudes immediately and  rest for few hours and have plenty of water.

Travel insurance

The costs that we offer do not cover your Travel Insurance. It is imperative that you have full comprehensive insurance cover to protect against unforeseen accidents and mishaps. Such policies are not available in Bhutan. It should adequately cover baggage and travel delays etc. and helicopter evacuation, transportation and medical assistance incase of treks.

Liability

“Bhutan Lhuethag Adventure” acts as intermediary between the concerned operators provide the services. Lhuethag Adventure therefore not responsibility for any loss, injury or damage sustained by the tourists, including those occurring outside the touring programmes additional expenses & natural disaster. Political actions and unrest must be borne by the tourists. No refund will be available in the event of any route or itinerary changes.

Change of Itineraries

A change in itinerary is sometimes unavoidable due to the weather and road conditions. Lhuethag Adventure reserves the right to change the itinerary for any reason that we may deem it necessary for carrying out the trip.

Delayed departure & Arrival

Delays in departure and arrivals are sometimes unavoidable for the same reasons. As the airline Druk Air depends on visual landing in Bhutan, a clear sky and weather condition is required for Druk Air to land in Paro. Similarly, road blocks can occur after heavy rainfall in the monsoon and can delay travel on the road.
